Hi everyone, I've got a question! Is it possible to run clayagents from a google sheet? We've got some fields that we've exported from salesforce, and we'd like clay to add new columns and then enrich our local data!
Yes, just import the file as a csv then add enrichment!
Hi, just to clarify, is this adding the file back into clay? What I mean is, connecting clay to google sheets, and allow clayagents to enrich the fields directly onto the sheet itself. Or do you have to download the CSV, and upload into clay
I would just upload it as the csv and not connect it for ease of use.
I see, thank you!
I can also see a way to pull data straight from salesforce, but right now, it's showing some errors
Hi Jonathan T.! Are you still on a free trial? SFDC integration is a pro feature, and usually only enabled once a user has started on that plan. Would you like to better understand how to set this up? Or walk through a live demo to see how this works?
Yes please!
Yes we're considering clay for: auto vetting clayagents for generating personalised fields
Also wanted to check if auto importing is possible, or do we always have to manually upload the data, for example, to sync a gsheet to clay that's always adding new rows to back onto clay for enrichement
Hey Jonathan, guessing Sagar T. will DM you to schedule a call. In the meantime, happy to add more insights. While in the trial you should be able to use the CRM integrations including SFDC but not sure how you ran into that error (would you be able to record a quick loom of the steps you followed? thanks).
Also, if you'd like to auto-import records from SFDC, that's already possible since it has a refresh time of every 24hrs currently, but you can also set up webhook imports in a similar fashion to import data from other sources like Spreadsheets but you may need an intermediary tool like Zapier or Make.com to trigger the webhook.
