I have a list of companies from Apollo with a ton of data points. I would like to use Clay to find out if the company has a physical address (and ideally if they own the building they're in). I already get the company's physical address from apollo but in a lot of cases it's a mailbox and they're virtual businesses. Basically I would need to find out if it's a brick and mortar business. Any ideas on how I can do that?
Hey, thanks for reaching out! Have you tried other enrichment options? Could you send me your table URL and let me know where that happened? I'll check it out to get you the best solution. It's possible that other providers, like Clearbit, will give you more exact data, or you could always try Claygent too.
So I received already a few replies from people saying that they have a virtual business and no brick and mortar. How would I use Claygent to identify brick and mortar businesses?
How do you usually identify them? What criteria do you use to figure that out?
In general I would verify that they're in one of these industries: wineries, farms, manufacturer, college (and a few more)
If I gave a prompt to Claygent to identify based on the website if the business is brick and mortar, would it be too general?
So you don't get those data points from Apollo? That might work, but if you have more indicators that it's a brick-and-mortar location, it would be good to add them, for example, opening hours, map locations, etc.
That's a good idea thanks!
