Has anyone come across an issue where when filtering off of a column, it automatically adds like 8 filters on it's own and if you delete them, they auto add back? Recording of the issue attached.
This sounds like it could be related to filter groups or column dependencies causing unexpected behavior. [1]
Try these steps:
Check for filter groups - Open your filter menu and look for nested filter groups. Filter groups can be layered up to two levels deep with AND/OR logic, which might explain multiple filters appearing.
Review column dependencies - Check if the column has dependencies in its Run Settings that might be triggering automatic filters. Open the column settings → Run Settings tab to see if conditions are defined.
Look for infinite loop patterns - If filters keep re-adding themselves, check if there's a circular dependency where the column is triggering itself. [2]
If the issue persists after checking these, click Talk to a person for further assistance with this specific filtering behavior.

I have no filter groups
2I have no dependencies in my run settings attributed to filtering (that I'm aware of)
Since you've confirmed no filter groups or run setting dependencies, this could be an infinite loop scenario where the column is triggering itself. [1]
Check if auto-update is enabled for both the table and the specific column - this can cause continuous re-triggering when the column modifies data that triggers its own conditions. [2] Also verify if there's conditional logic in the column's "Only run if" settings that might be creating a cycle where the enrichment updates a field that then triggers the condition again.
To stop this behavior, try disabling auto-update for the problematic column in Edit Column > Run Settings, or check if the column has conditional run criteria that reference fields the column itself modifies.
Which specific column type is causing this filtering issue - is it an enrichment column, formula column, or another type?
If the table auto-update toggle isn't functioning, try this alternative method:
To disable table auto-update:
Click the Auto-update icon at the bottom right of your table
Select Turn Off Table [1]
Important: Ensure your table is not currently running before attempting to disable auto-update. [2]
If the toggle still won't respond after trying this method, this may indicate a technical issue that requires human support. Click Talk to a person for further assistance with this specific behavior.
Did that answer your question?
The sources don't explain the specific root cause of filters auto-adding when table auto-update is enabled. Auto-update is designed to automatically run columns when rows are added or edited to keep your table current. [1]
While auto-update is a default setting, you can control it at both table and column levels based on your workflow needs. [2] Many users disable it during table setup to prevent unintended runs and credit usage, then re-enable it when ready for production.
