To publish changes from Sandbox mode, click Review changes to view all structural column updates. [1]
You'll have two publishing options:
Publish and don't Run - syncs column configurations without running them
Publish and run - syncs configurations and runs all affected columns
Note that manually added rows and manual cell overrides won't be published - only structural changes like new columns, renamed columns, and updated configurations. [2]

I was running job title waterfall enrichment for the cohort. As per the instructions, I was supposed to run the enrichment in sandbox and publish in Live table. However, after multiple attempts the results were not published hence, had to run the enrichment manually.

When publishing from Sandbox mode, only structural changes like new columns, renamed columns, and updated configurations are published to the live table. [1]
The actual enrichment results and data from your job title waterfall won't transfer - you'll need to re-run the enrichment on your live table after publishing the column structure. This is why you had to run the enrichment manually on the live table.
To properly use Sandbox mode: test your waterfall configuration in Sandbox, publish the column structure to live, then run the enrichment on your live table with the full dataset.
