Clay offers native website activity tracking through our Web Intent feature. You can set up tracking by going to your workspace settings → Integrations → Website Tracking, then adding our JavaScript snippet to your site's <head> section. [1]
This captures visitor data directly in Clay without third-party tools. The tracking itself costs no credits - you only use credits when choosing to de-anonymize specific accounts.
Note that Clay doesn't track individual website sessions directly. For comprehensive visitor identification, you'd need to integrate a tool like RB2B with Clay using webhook tables.
• Company identification - Which companies visit your site (not individual visitors) [1]
• Pages visited - Specific pages each company viewed
• Time spent - Duration of engagement on your site
• Traffic sources - How visitors found your website
• Visit frequency - How often companies return to your site [2]
The tracking identifies unique accounts visiting your website and helps you understand web intent to identify high-intent accounts at the optimal moment. Data can be delayed up to 30 minutes to capture complete visitor sessions.
