Community Updates and Guidelines: New Channels, Posting Rules, and Profile Requirements at Clay

I'd like to highlight some recent updates to the community as well as reiterate some of our guidelines – thanks in advance for reading!
After much deliberation, we have launched a new channel 🔒[private feed] – it's the only channel where members are allowed to post if they are looking for part-time or full-time roles. If you're looking, please specify your preferences and feel free to include external links. Pitching products or services – in any channel – is against our guidelines.
We have two channels where folks can post open roles: Share Part Time Jobs and Share Full-time Jobs. It is mandatory to include essential details about the role – location and timezone preferences in particular. It's also mandatory to mention the compensation for part-time jobs (or one-off projects). Posts from members without a profile picture will be deleted without a warning.
When responding to questions, please don't pitch your services or DM the author, neither of those is helpful for other members. If you're looking for services, please post only in Share Part Time Jobs.
Share Content and Events is the only channel where one can link to any external content but one has to provide upfront value in the post itself. The reader shouldn't have to click on an external link to derive value from the post. Once again, promoting products or services is against our guidelines. Link-dropping is lazy and unhelpful so please don't do that.
Share Tables, Tools, and Workflows is only for members to share tables, tools, or workflows they've built. It's fair game to include a piece of content here as long as you're also sharing something that one can use/replicate for free.
🔒[private feed] is only for posts that offer a collaboration opportunity – nothing else.
Discuss Anything is for all questions and discussions.
Use Feedback & Requests to send your product feedback and feature requests directly to the Clay team.
The Clay support team is available via Clay Support from 9 AM to 9 PM EST, Monday through Friday. You can also reach the support team via the in-app help widget in the Clay app or via support@clay.com. Please don't DM Clay team members for support and post your questions in relevant channels (🔒[private feed], 🔒[private feed], 🔒[private feed]).
Unsolicited DMs should be reported in 🔒[private feed] – accounts are deactivated without a warning. ❌ Clay also reserves the right to deactivate accounts of all members belonging to the organization whose member is in violation.
DM me if you need any clarification or are unsure of which channel to post in (I respond to every DM). It's also against our guidelines to post the same message in multiple channels.
Additionally, we require members to add their full name (in English) in both the Full Name and Display Name fields under profile settings here in Slack. Members can also choose to also add their organization's name and role in brackets. Example: Arpit Choudhury (Clay Community Captain). A profile picture is also mandatory – ideally a headshot but a picture of your pet or company logo are also fair game.
Please note that Clay reserves the right to deactivate accounts with incomplete profiles – usually done after a couple of reminders. And if you haven't already, please take a couple minutes to familiarize yourself with our guidelines to make the most of this community.
